Finally caving in and posting this comic after leaving it to rot in my gallery. Drew this throughout the semester and it was mainly for practice drawing comic pages so that’s why there’s such a big style change. It’s cringy I know lol but it’s just supposed to be a cute little sonadow beach comic cause why not.
Maybe more parts in the future? (I already have some pages drawn….)
I am so tired, y'all. My doctor put it as “when it rains it pours” - fitting, bc I had to walk back from the doctors office in the humid summer rain. I personally say “Murphy’s Law has too much fun with me.”
Anyways, yeah, in addition to my missing cat and just general financial issues, my truck just… Quit??? Today of all days.
Of course it’s a Monday.
I was literally going to go get in to go to my doctor’s appointment, it clicked on like it was starting and a second later everything died. :’)
It’s not the battery, I know that, because we bought and replaced the battery only a few months ago. It’s most likely either the alternator or the starter and this truck is 19 years old, almost as old as me, so God only knows. I don’t know the last time either of those things were changed, if ever, and I can’t ask either of the prior owners (I’m the third).
So I am once again posting pictures of my cat and my Paypal link because Jesus. I’m just. I’m so tired, guys. I am so, so tired.
Plus pictures of the missing miss Salem. My absolute heart who I’m still holding out hope for.

That looks and sounds like your battery is megadead (this happened to me so many times on my last car before I had to sell it).
You could try seeing if someone could charge up your battery (there’s a device for 30 bucks, but the process can honestly be a bit freaky and one of your coworkers may be able to give you a jump with some cables in their car????), or you could try getting a new battery for your car and putting it in (last I checked, batteries were 60 bucks a pop).
ik you said you have no money for now, but I hope that the paypal can scrounge you up at least that much so you can get your car back on the road again. If this happens again within, like, a week, you’d probably have a drain on it and would definitely need to take it in.

The thing with that is that there it can’t be the battery. I bought a brand new one only a few months ago, less than 6. And it wouldn’t drain so fast from accidental lights or anything bc my truck automatically shuts lights off once the truck is turned off, etc.
We’re thinking at this point that it’s the alternator or the starter. It came on this morning for all of a second before the whole thing died.
One of my friends is a mechanic, he’s gonna come look at it when he has a free moment but he stays busy so unsure when. But he’ll be able to figure out more, and then it’s just gonna be scrounging money to buy the replacement part(s).
